Armand Hammer is an exceptional duo formed by rap pioneers billy woods and ELUCID, whose sharp and socially conscious lyrics, along with experimental productions, have delivered a distinctive, challenging, and critically acclaimed style of hip-hop across three albums. The duo's solid expertise and vision were evident last year in "We Buy Diabetic Test Strips," which drew strong inspiration from jazz. Pitchfork described it as a dark composition that balances self-reflection and societal critique. Preceding this album was "Haram," a collaboration with rap producer The Alchemist, where the producer's dark soundscapes became part of the dark narratives of the rap artists, often described as each other's contrasts. 

Interestingly, Armand Hammer's track "The Gods Must Be Crazy" made it onto Pitchfork's list of the top 100 songs of 2023!
