Frank Carter, the vocalist of the hardcore band Gallows, has since 2015 focused on their ensemble called The Rattlesnakes. Through their uncompromising work, the band has risen to the forefront of European punk alongside IDLES and the fellow Sideways perfoermer band Fontaines D.C.. In their production, the band credibly addresses topics such as mental health issues and toxic masculinity. Regardless of the subject matter, the band's live performances are full of joy, a characteristic that has been emphasized since the release of the 2019 album End of Suffering, described as a liberation record.
