PEGGY GOU AND JUNGLE START THE FESTIVAL SUMMER AT SIDEWAYS

Erityislaatuisuudellaan ja yllätyksellisyydellään lumoava Sideways käynnistää Helsingin festivaalikesän tanssien, kun elektronisen musiikin kansainväliset huippunimet Peggy Gou (KR) ja Jungle (UK) esiintyvät Nordiksella. Lisäksi 13.–15. kesäkuuta järjestettävälle festivaalille ovat varmistuneet post-punkin kärkinimi Fontaines D.C. (IE) sekä anatolialainen musiikin modernisoijat Derya Yildirim & Grup Şimşek (TR). 

Erikoishintaiset 3 päivän liput ovat myynnissä vain keskiviikkoon 6.12. klo 23.59 asti, jonka jälkeen lipun hinta nousee. Lippukauppaan pääset tästä.

One of the biggest DJs in the world today, Peggy Gou is a Berlin-based DJ-producer whose house, techno and electro productions have managed to convince critical fans of the genre in an extraordinary way, while becoming a huge radio hit around the world. In particular, the mega-hit single (It Goes Like) from their highly anticipated debut album, Nanana, has become a global earworm this year with hundreds of millions of streams. 

Adding to the electronic music buzz at the festival will be British music producer duo Jungle, known for their finely honed audiovisual live shows. In their live shows Jungle grows into a major live band, and they have been impressing audiences for over a decade already with their effortless feel-good dance music that fuses neo-soul and funk. 

Completing the line-up is Fontaines D.C., one of the top post-punk acts making a coveted return to Helsinki with their fiercely confident licks and intense yet delicate guitar sounds. Derya Yildirim & Grup Şimşek, a unique Turkish group combining Anatolian folk with psych and prog will also take the stage.
